Summer 2024

My summer schedule is just that – a summer schedule. I have spent a good part of my summer in Delft, and the second half of my research stay in the company of my daughter.

While the hours I can spend working are limited to the childcare I have available, and solo parenting is intense, I do enjoy the more leisurely pace the summer brings.

I have had time to catch up with colleagues, to make progress on research, and to think through some issues and find potential solutions.

There has also been a lot of ice cream, family visits, and just hanging out in the sun. I took off less time than usual, but I feel ready for another whirlwind of an academic year.
