Evaluation of my Spring 2025 goals
As always at the end of a semester, I am taking a bit of time to see how I did with my goals. Here’s my evaluation of my Spring 2025 goals:
- Submit 4 papers: Yes, and they are under review.
- Submit EU proposal by May: I submitted a Pathfinder. The odds are low, but we will see.
- Submit two national proposals: I submitted two proposals for national funding in Ecuador. I’ll get the results of the first one mid June and the second mid August.
- Submit a preproposal: No – I learned my profile does not fully align with this call for personal funding.
- Teach undergraduate Bridge Design course: Yes, and we included Coursera modules again.
- Work on next deliverables of EU project: Through secondments and conference papers, as well as laboratory work, we are advancing step by step.
All in all, I have achieved most of my goals, and I got to travel quite some, so I’m a happy camper.
