My flexible template for summer 2026

During summer 2022 and 2023, I let go of my weekly template. In summer 2024 and 2025, I used my template in a flexible way, which is what I will do this summer as well.

This summer is split into various parts, each which have a different use of my template:

• I started my semester with a two-week long visit to Brazil, in which I visited 4 universities, and held two meetings with organizations.
• In June, I will be in Quito, using my weekly template from Spring 2026 (but without the teaching and office hours)
• The first week of July, I will go to a conference in Florida
• The next three weeks I will in Delft. I have a lot of meetings, and will use my template flexibly.
• Then I will take one week of holidays with my family.
• I’ll return to Quito one week before the start of the Fall semester.

So, this semester I am essentially repurposing my weekly template to make sure I make progress on all fronts, but with sufficient flexibility as necessary in this time of travel.
