Evaluation Of My Spring 2026 Goals

Evaluation of my Spring 2026 goals

As always at the end of the semester, I check in on my goals. Here’s how I did:

  • Submit 3 papers: Ended up submitting 5
  • Submit EU proposal in February (if I get the consortium to work out): done and submitted! We will get the results in July
  • Work on another EU proposal that has another lead: Yes, we submitted this one too
  • Work on next deliverables of EU project: All deliverables are submitted
  • Defense of my PhD student: and cum laude!!!!
  • Start a new project: the start has been a bit slow but our new postdoc will start this summer
  • Define activities in line with new agenda of university: well…. I ended up in the leadership of our university so now I get to turn the new agenda into policy *__*
  • Improve my big lifts: working on it in a 16-week cycle that will finish in June
  • Submit to a poetry competition: submitted to various, and got published in two online magazines: one in Dutch and one in English
  • Organize fun activities and weekends away for my family: I feel like my daughter’s agenda is already busy with all the invites she receives and things so has so I have not been organizing that much myself.
